Girls Box Lacrosse Clinic — Intro to Box
Patriot Lacrosse is proud to launch its first-ever girls box lacrosse program — exclusively for girls, and designed to teach the game the right way.
Led by Coach Jack Margiotta, Director of Rockets Box Lacrosse, and Coach Kate Struble, a coach at Montclair State University and Patriot Girls Goalie Coach, this clinic introduces players to the fast-paced, high-skill world of box lacrosse.
Each session blends fundamentals, game concepts, and box-specific skills to build confidence, toughness, and creativity — all in a fun, competitive environment.
Program Focus
Introduction to box lacrosse rules and concepts
Small-area skills, quick decision-making, and footwork
Stick protection, finishing, and transition play
Fast-paced, fun, and developmental atmosphere
No prior box experience necessary.
Required Equipment:
Helmet and gloves are required — whether it’s your brother’s lacrosse helmet, a hockey helmet, or anything with a full cage to protect your head and face, plus gloves. Boys Stick Recommended
